Last Night's Dinner
How does one celebrate the successful conclusion to the first week at a new job? With a couple of Cheezy Beefs from Susie's, a tall glass of cheap beer and a new episode of Doctor Who!

Christmas Dinner
I was on my own Christmas Day, having spent Christmas Eve Eve at brunch with Superbadfriend and dinner with Dee and JB and Christmas Eve at dinner with Mom. I was well prepared, however, for a hearty Christmas dinner of pierogis with various fillings (potato, sauerkraut, cheese, meat, plum) garnished with garlic, red onions and green bell pepper. (See what I did there? Red and green? Christmas? hello? This thing on?) After dinner, moving from in front of the TV was pretty much an impossibility, but that hadn't been part of the plan anyway.

For Dinner Last Night...
Homemade beef stew from Superbadfriend. Perfect comfort food on the first snowy day of the season.
BTW: This entry is going up at 11:11 a.m. CST on 11/11/11. What does that mean? Not a damn thing, really. Just very symmetrical, that's all.

For Dinner Last Night...
Cute li'l meatball sandwiches (and by "li'l," i mean "huge") constructed from the leftovers from Dee's birthday celebration at JB's place Saturday night. I added a bit of super-sharp Australian Boxing Cheddar to the top, heated the whole thing in the microwave, and then it was NOMNOMNOMNOM until I couldn't NOM anymore. (One sandwich remains in the fridge for whenever I get home tonight.)
