Illinois reaches Phase 4 of its reopening plan today.
This means that folks who are fully vaccinated can pretty much do whatever they want--go to a restaurant, see a movie, catch a ballgame--as long as they're fully vaccinated.
They'll still be required to wear a mask under certain circumstances--riding the bus or train, for example--but all the venues that have had to close or work under severe seating restrictions can now fully reopen.
I'll still be wearing a mask for the next couple of weeks, though--until my second vaccine dose is administered by the fine folks at CVS on June 22nd.
Better safe than sorry--or dead.
