This morning, on my way in to work, grapple--those little, annoying lumps of snow/ice that sometimes fall from the sky--were all over the "L" platforms and sidewalks. Not enough to be slippery or scenic, but just enough to be annoying.
It reminded me of the song by Prince, "Sometimes It Snows in April," the concluding song of his "Sign of the Times" album.
Not coincidentally, Prince died five years ago today.
Doesn't seem that long, but it is.
RIP, Purple One.
