On the way home from the library (where I do all my internetting these days) Wednesday afternoon, I ran across a box of toys that someone had thrown out. Not particularly valuable--mostly mid-90s stuff like Star Wars, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Marvel and Terminator--but still cool to find.
I like to find positive omens wherever I can, and I often buy toys after interviews in the superstitious belief that this brings me luck. Could this cache of action figures be a good omen for things to come? Damn, I sure hope so. I could use some good luck about now.
