I needed to pick up a particular cat food for Olivia yesterday. She's developed a taste for Friskies Senior Lamb & Rice, which, fortunately, is relatively low in phosphorus (at least compared to other Friskies varieties). Unfortunately, the pet food store nearest to me that carries that variety in abundance is the Petco on Halsted--steps away from the route for this year's Gay Pride Parade.
The photo above does not show the actual parade route, but the torrent of humanity surging toward the parade route. Too many people in too little space. I took alleys over to Petco, got what I needed and got out as quickly as possible.
