They've stuck around for Valentine's Day; as I snapped this shot, they were playing Marvin Gaye's "Let's Get It On."

These "lightscapes"--glowing cylinders that look like a cross between a microphone and a vibrator--popped up on State Street during the holiday season, changing colors while playing festive songs. My jury is still out on these "lightscapes"... But I'm sure many folks will be playing "Let's Get It On" tomorrow night. And plenty others (this boy included) won't be.
