Most of the employees in my workplace are clustered around a large-screen TV in the break room--the first time I've seen such a gathering since 9/11. Just tells you how momentous most people feel this day is.
My department's commissioner set up televisions is three conference rooms (her personal meeting room included) and invited every employee --more than 100 people-- to stop work and watch the entire inauguration ceremony. Many people, myself among them, cried throughout. I wish that my parents were alive to share this day with me. My mother, more than anyone else I know, would be so very happy.
