On the Way Home Last Night 5/6/15
The sky and office/condo buildings are now visible through the beams that used to hold the southbound platform of the Madison/Wabash station in the loop. CTA is taking it's time bringing the old station down--it closed nearly two months ago, but all they've done is remove signage and, within the last couple of weeks, take the roofing and platform planks away. The overwhelming majority of the station? Still untouched.

On the Way to Work This Morning 4/22/15
It snowed this morning--just enough to wet the ground, still warm after a couple of weeks of above-average temperatures, and to stick to garage roofs and items in the alleys, like this abandoned chair.

Every Picture Tells a Story 4/14/15
Madison Street is a hot, dusty mess right now, with construction of bus rapid transit stops and the new Washington/Wabash train station jacking the street to the max. (The Madison/Wabash train stop--soon to be demolished, but thus far barely touched--remains visible in the distance.)
