Every Picture Tells a Story 3/31/14

The streets took a real beating this past winter, with burst water mains and potholes everywhere. Alleys didn't do any better. Just take a look at the grove of potholes that popped up about a block from La Casa del Terror. Given how long it's taking a city to fill all the potholes on the main and side streets--and, to be fair to the city, there are a lot of potholes to patch--imagine how long it will take them to get around to this patch of nasty.

Encountered this foot-shaped pothole at Roosevelt and State last night. Maybe a giant with nice shoes walked by?

On the Way Home Last Night 3/6/14

The city is going to have a spot of trouble dyeing the river green for St. Patrick's Day this year if it's still mostly frozen.

Every Picture Tells a Story 3/6/14

This Christmas tree still has not been carted off by city garbage crews--most likely because it's frozen into a snowbank.
