Every Picture Tells a Story 3/9/15

The most amusing thing about this poster for the A&E TV series The Returned isn't the fact that this is a remake of a French TV series ("We'll do it in English, 'cause people HATE subtitles! And France!") or that the legs-in-the-water art makes it look more like a remake of Jaws.

It's the little copy line beneath the A&E logo: "BE ORIGINAL."

An American remake of a French TV series is original...how, exactly?
