Every Picture Tells a Story 4/14/15

Madison Street is a hot, dusty mess right now, with construction of bus rapid transit stops and the new Washington/Wabash train station jacking the street to the max. (The Madison/Wabash train stop--soon to be demolished, but thus far barely touched--remains visible in the distance.)

    I understand the need for a new station, but that Jetsons vision they have planned as the new station makes me sick.

    I think they're trying to piggyback on the proximity to the stylized structures (Cloud Gate, BP Bridge, etc.) in nearby Millennium Park, but I agree--the station design looks really weird (and not in a good way).
